Salary: €40,000 OTE - €30,000 base salary

We're growing rapidly and looking for a driven BDR to join our team to help facilitate and exponentially grow revenue in SmartRoutes.


Role Overview:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at SmartRoutes, you'll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads. You'll work closely with your Account Executive and the sales and marketing team to understand our ICP and identify new business opportunities and book meetings with potential ICP clients. This role is ideal for someone ambitious, creative, results-driven, and eager to kickstart their career in SaaS sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify, research, and qualify potential business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Prospecting: Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through prospecting and market research.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' needs and pains and present SmartRoutes' value to them
  • Collaboration: Work closely with your AE to pass qualified leads and discovered deals to their funnel and also the sales and marketing team to develop outreach strategies and support sales initiatives.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar sales, BDR, or customer-facing role (SaaS experience is a plus).
    • Experience with MEDDICC sales methodology preferred, but not required
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Creativity to generate your own personalised, incentivised and eye-catching outbound emails
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
    • A proactive and results-oriented mindset
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
