How to Enable Driver Push Notifications
You can automate push notifications to alert drivers when they receive a new route or when an existing route is updated. This eliminates the need for manual calls or messages, ensuring drivers stay up to date in real time.
1. Notify drivers when a route is assigned
When a route is created and assigned to a driver, they will receive a push notification once you click ‘Send to Drivers’ after finalizing the route. This ensures drivers know exactly when a new route is ready, helping them stay organized and prepared for their deliveries.
2. Notify drivers when a route is updated
If a route has already been dispatched and needs changes, you can edit it within SmartRoutes. Instead of manually contacting the driver, automated push notifications will instantly inform them of the updates.
When your account is created, driver notifications are turned off by default. You can turn them on at any time by navigating to:
Settings > Driver App > Driver Notifications
From there, choose which driver notifications you want to enable or disable.
